Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program

Our psychosocial rehabilitation program is designed for individuals with mental illnesses and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.  We implement a teaching model to assist these individuals learn skills necessary to be successful in society.  Our program is centered on building social skills, coping skills, independent living skills, psychoeducation on mental health diagnosis, psychoeducation on substance use disorders, and psychoeducation on medications. In addition, we have incorporated training on mindfulness practices, emotion regulation, community and environmental awareness, self-esteem building, and self-care activities.

A Supportive Hug

We believe that success when it comes to psychosocial rehabilitation involves more than talk therapy and group work.  For this reason, we have integrated real-life experiences into our program as a way to strengthen and practice the skills learned in group. Our hands-on approach to psychosocial rehabilitation will involve the use of outings, mock-style activities, and art, music, and body movement exercises.

Our clients have access to psychiatric evaluation, case management, and therapists ready and willing to help.  At G.R.O.W.T.H. Counseling and Therapy, LLC, our focus is on the client and how to help them flourish.
